I have been eager to feature Kathryn Kennedy’s beautiful blooms for a while after featuring Lauren and Dave’s wedding on here back in August, Kathryn provided the beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements, take a look here.

Kathryn Kennedy Flowers came about due to her need of a creative outlet, coming from a career in project managing and consultancy for the Home Office she decided to change direction completely! She still does a little HR work alongside her business, but I will always have a huge respect for anyone unafraid to follow their passions! After attending agricultural college in Kent she then went on to do more courses and workshops with organisations such as Jane Packer and floral designers such as Moniek Vanden Berghe.

After starting out designing floral displays for family and friends her business has grown by word of mouth, delivering sumptuous bouquets of red roses  hasn’t gone amiss either. Kathryn now owns a workshop in Edenbridge, Kent, where she arranges all her designs. Her Facebook page shows many examples of weddings she has created exquisite arrangements for but she also supplies flowers for many special occasions, she sources blooms of the highest quality that are fresh and have been well cared for.

When styling blooms for your wedding day Kathryn will work closely with you to create the perfect displays to capture the essence of your day. She will also visit venues to ensure that the aesthetic will be sensational. A love of finding quirky collectibles that will enhance her displays such as cake tins and vintage vases, strings of pearls and lace  make for stunning bespoke centre pieces. Kathryn’s style is eclectic, drawing inspiration from the countryside and seasons, combining this with fashions for nostalgic vintage, French chic, English country gardens and timeless classics. Where possible she sources the best flowers from local producers to minimise her carbon footprint and champion homegrown talent.

It is the passion for flowers that stand her apart from the rest and is always researching the latest trends to bring you the best and latest in floral designs and arrangements.
