WOW! What a week!!!

Its been a whirlwind of parties, networking and fairs for me in what has panned out to be a very busy wedding schedule. Its a hard life, but someone has to do it!

Last week saw the launch of Issue #2 of Doily Days Loves Weddings. Helen, the brains behind the operation has worked her arse off getting together one of the best local wedding magazines. Jam packed with the best suppliers London and the South West of England has to offer all bound together within the glossy pages. Filled with stunning images, DIY tips from some of the best in the business and brimming with inspiration for brides and grooms looking for the unique, quirky and affordable.

This party also celebrated the start of Belles Events wedding fair season and I’ll be featuring her first for the autumn here soon!

But first…

Heading down there mega early as I have a habit of getting very lost in Brighton, I soon had a glass of wine in one hand and a pom pom in the other. The fab decorations were provided by Pom Pom Studios and were expertly fluffed by me, Helen and Salina of Lady Loves Beauty

Helen then had a very glamorous make-over by the very glamorous Ingrid of Fine to Fabulous, I decided to go 60s as I’ve never chartered that era before and ended up with the most fabulous bouffant that would rival Marge Simpson (thanks for that comment H!). Ingrid set up shop along side Nicki of Pretty Pout to give all the guests vintage make-overs. Nicki also brought along her fellow ladies from The Parlour Rooms, Jo and Taj. You really need to visit these lovely and talented ladies in their shared space providing a vintage tea shop (Taj) the Big Bead Boutique (Jo) and Nicki has her studio downstairs.  A one stop shop for glamour and ladies who lunch!

Hana from Prints Charming brought her brilliant photo booth which I have now decided I want in my living room. Its enormous so I’m not sure I have space, but photo booths are now my most favourite thing ever! Loads of props…loads of silly faces. Anna Pumer came down and captured all the amazing shots I’m about to share with you and landed herself in the local paper after they came down to cover the event, while crooning sensation Johnny Zero and the lovely Hannah Summers kept us all entertained.

It was great to catch up with Heather of Brighton Photo, Erika of Photo Madly and Tess of Chatter Cakes (who made an amazing cake for the event!) and my photo booth partner for the evening Louise of Oh My Honey!

Here’s what we all got up to…
