Jodie Perrins is the designer and creator behind clothing company Sacred Realms. After leaving uni with a first class honours degree Jodie realised that creating womenswear and lingerie was her passion and decided to make it her livelihood. Continuing to learn and develop new techniques throughout her career has seen her working with corset makers and swimwear designers as well as completing short courses offered by De Montford University.

With a collection encompassing bespoke corsets, wedding dresses and nightwear, there is sure to be something for everyone here. Creating a capsule collection of either bespoke dresses or unique, one-of-a-kind items to go on the website at any one time, Jodie will then focus her attention on making orders to request. Her bespoke corsets are made using a mixture of satin, ribbon and corsetry Coutil (a woven cloth used specifically for making corsets). Each corset is then steel boned, doubling up as support underwear or outerwear, Jodie is a firm believer that clothes are what you make of them.

With her website updated regularly you will need to keep visiting to see what delights she has come up with, but I have her new collection here to share with you today. The latest offering of corsets are entitled ‘Doll House’ and  ‘A Good Vintage’, a floral over-bust corset and kimono set. This is a ribbon corset made using Coutil and Satin, in-between each floral panel there is a faded antique pink ribbon adorned with gold busk and eyelets and steel boned. The kimono is a heavy satin matching the floral motif from the corset, this would make a stunning wedding present from your other half! Doll House is an under-bust corset in either tea rose and aqua or light antique rose and Ivory, both come with silver fastenings. Jodie can also make you a tulle skirt to match your corset for a wedding outfit, her main focus being her client and their needs you can almost create an outfit in your imagination and Jodie will endeavour to make it a reality!

The stunning wedding dress in this collection is made from liquid satin, embroidered tulle and an assortment of lace. Inspired by the 1920s the dress was designed with the ladies of that era in mind who were enjoying the romantically lit Parisian night life. Working from her home on the Brown Clee Hill in Shropshire Jodie is happy for her clients to come and visit. Contact her through her website here to make an appointment or for inquiries.

Keep up to date through the Facebook page and keep your eyes peeled for her fantastic sales, sample pieces are heavily discounted and are often snapped up before she even has chance to advertise them!
