Hello all!
I recently brought you the current collection of stunning vintage inspired wedding dresses by Eliza Jane Howell. You can view her Legend Collection here.
Now its the turn of Decadence, the new collection…
Gill Harvey the designer behind EJH has created another stunning collection with a vintage twist, this time you can see she has been heavily influenced by the roaring twenties. There is even a gown named after the leading lady in this years blockbuster The Great Gatsby, the Daisy dress is a nod to the resurgence of all things Jazz Age and the whole collection looks like its been time traveled from that era!
Stunning bead work, drop waists and antique tones will make you look like you have stepped back in time when wearing one of the new designs, a forte of Gill’s! I saw this collection while visiting the White Gallery in May and I was blown away! I loved each one and even got to speak to Gill herself, showing me her dresses I was amazed that they had so much beading but were actually really light. Gill told me that making the dresses heavily beaded helped them move beautifully with each step and look sensational on the dancefloor without weighing you down.
I didn’t want to leave her stand as I could pretend that it was my own walk in wardrobe! I wish! I have said on many occasions that if I were to get married again (to my husband of course!) that I would choose an EJH dress without a doubt!
For this new season, Gill has collaborated with Barnardos furriers in Dublin to create fur stoles and capes that really compliment the style of this collection and finish of the look. Eliza Jane Howell also design their own head wear so you can create a truly authentic vintage look and be top to toe in EJH, the ultimate in vintage chic on your wedding day!
These gowns are just beautiful… Im in love with the whole collection!! xx
Me too!
