While there is a Jive lesson going on in my living room (don’t ask!) I thought I would share some more pictures from the fantastic Dolly Takes a Trip shoot I organised recently with Nicki, of Nicki Feltham Photography.

We were fortunate to have Laura Mott as our second shooter on the day and she captured all the backstage action.

We had the fab Naita Channer with us doing all the ‘doll’ make up and making us look picture perfect and ‘puppet-like’! The lovely Claire from Rosey Posey Creations had come along for the day and helped fit all the models with her beautiful head pieces which she had made bespoke for our shoot. Hannah from BonnieBoo Buttons brought along a selection of her button bouquets, button holes and lucky horseshoes that were in myriad of colours! Tess from Chatter Cakes brought her culinary expertise in the form of button decorated cakes and a kaleidoscope of hundreds and thousands as well as doing the washing up, thanks Tess!

We hired the fabulous Seabank in Selsey which is two vintage train carriages that have been converted into a beach hut! We decided to stay there for a few days as the shoot was pretty full on and we could get a little holiday at the same time. Seabank is right on the seafront so we only needed to cross a path and we were at the seaside! It was the perfect location for our ideas and would highly recommend it as a holiday destination.

Fenella’s Flowers sent us some fabric bouquets to add lots of colour and Lucy Jane Ltd provided props.
